Navigating around an airport, figuring out where to check-in, where to drop off baggage and which customs queue to join can be confusing when you are in an airport for the first time, even if you are a frequent traveller.
As a frequent traveller my ideal airport experience would be to get through the check-in process and on my flight in twenty minutes. Since we don’t yet live in utopia I know that this is not currently a realistic goal.

I finished University shortly before the fall of the Berlin wall. Politically and socially it was an incredible end to a tumultuous decade. At that time, however, there was no tech industry per se. Sure, IBM, HP and Intel were large, strong companies while Microsoft and Apple had started to make their mark. But, there was no industry of the size and stature that we now have.
